The Rusty Spoon is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a series of delicious events, and the latest one to be announced is a special #tbt event featuring chef Kathleen Blake's besties Penny Barend and Melissa Khoury, better known as the Lady Butchers of Cleveland.

It's neither a Dexter nor an American Psycho reference – these women have established themselves as the Ohio River Valley's foremost authorities on whole-animal butchery and sausage-making, which is exactly what they'll be here to show off at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 21, partly to raise funds for a brick-and-mortar butcher shop they hope to open in Cleveland called Saucisson, from the French word for dried, cured sausage.

Make reservations by calling the Rusty Spoon or through OpenTable, and leave a note in your comments to the restaurant that you'll be there for the Lady Butchers of Saucisson.
