Two local Golden Corrals were cited for roaches and unsanitary conditions, which doesn't sound that bad for Golden Corral

Two Orlando Golden Corrals were recently cited for things like roaches and filthy conditions, which doesn't even sound that bad considering the fact we're talking about Golden Corral.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Golden Corral at 11731 E. Colonial Drive was closed on March 9 after health inspectors found "8 live roaches in the kitchen, food being stored at unsafe temperatures and food placed in soiled containers."

A couple weeks earlier, the Golden Corral at 5535 S. Kirkman Road near Universal Studios was shut down after a floor drain was pumping up waste water.

Both locations reopened the same day.

If you've never tested the limits of your body at a Golden Corral, the all-you-can-eat buffet chain has a long history of questionable practices. You could argue that the chain serves more cockroaches than people. But the best example of this is from back in 2013, when a Golden Corral in Port Orange, Florida, was called out for storing food in a dumpster
