Sun Sentinel editorial board refuses to endorse in Republican primary

Posted By on Fri, Mar 4, 2016 at 2:21 PM

Today, the Sun Sentinel newspaper announced that it would not endorse a candidate for Florida's Republican primary election, "because the kind of person who should be running is not in the race."

The paper's editorial board wrote that Donald Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz are unqualified to serve as president and that Ohio Gov. John Kasich is the "best of the bunch" but that his lack of traction and organization also take him out of the running.

Ouch. There's more, and you can read the full non-endorsement here.

The paper endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Democratic primary, and you can read that endorsement here.
