The local hip-hop scene got a huge boost last year with Soul of the City's periodic multi-stage Scene mini-festivals at Venue 578. The parties provided a forum for musicians, graffiti artists, B-boys and -girls, cratediggers and other fans of hip-hop to mingle, socialize and showcase their talents. Now Mango Beats, the Family Gang's resident DJ, has dropped a mixtape on Soundcloud featuring local artists from the last edition of the Scene. Check out tracks from scene regulars like Phraydoe Peans alongside up-and-comers like Trini Elev8, Songs by Classy and more.
