Probably the most successful strategic placement of a dessert restaurant in the whole city has to be the new Insomnia Cookies store at University and Alafaya by UCF.

Whether you're drunk and need some sustenance in the form of sweet, chocolatey, warm, greasy deliciousness or you just finished a late-night study sesh and need brain food, the place with the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter bliss is your place.

Today, for #nationalcookieday, they're giving away a free chocolate chunk cookie with any purchase, either in the store or if you order online (yes, you can have warm cookies delivered to your door, but the delivery minimum applies).

The offer is valid until 3 a.m., so if you're stuck at the office or in the library, at least you know someone's got your late-night-munchies back.

You can also get the nutritional information on their website, in case you've started your 2016 calorie-cutting early, but we wouldn't suggest it.
