It's hard to imagine the Thornton Park dining scene without Greg Richie. Prior to opening Baoery, his new Asian gastropub, Richie impressed us with his re-do of Cityfish, which occupied the space since 2008.

But it's Soco – Richie's paean to refined Dixie dining – that really wowed us when it opened its doors late last year. Soco made our list of Top Tables of 2014 and with good reason.

On Nov. 17, Soco will celebrate one year of putting the south into our mouth with a special anniversary dinner featuring guest chefs Andres Mendoza (Norman's Orlando) and Henry Salgado (Spanish River Grill). For Salgado, it'll mark a return to Orlando since selling Txokos back in September.

The collaborative five-course meal costs $75 with an option of adding cocktails or wine pairings for an additional $35.

Call 407-849-1800 for reservations.
