LA Sweetz, a popular Miami-based cupcake shop owned and operated by Cupcake Wars contestant Letty Alvarez, will soon be opening in Dr. Phillips.

The shop plans to open at the The Fountains Shopping Center at 7535 W. Sand Lake Road sometime in early 2016.

From the Orlando Business Journal:

The 1,500-square-foot Orlando store will be the largest LA Sweetz shop in the chain, which currently has three locations in the Miami area. Rabits & Romano Architecture was selected to design the first Orlando shop. LA Sweetz will chose contractors and engineers in the coming weeks after design is complete.

This will be the second cupcake shop with reality show ties in the Orlando area. LA Sweetz will be joining fellow Cupcake Wars contestant and three time champion Hollis Wilder's shop Sweet By Holly.

The OBJ also reports that this particular location will feature a party area and bakery. Click here for more details on the cupcake chain.
