Drink Around The Hood is this Wednesday and we have few exciting tidbits we'd love to share with you about Orlando Weekly's monthly party in the "Ivanhood" district.

1. First off, we're switching it up and serving suds from our heavy-handed friends over at Shipyard Brewing Co. and Sea Dog Brewing Company. Hood drinkers can expect brews like Shipyard IPA, Seadog Blueberry, Sunfish, Summer Ale, Applehead and Hazelnut Porter, just to name a few.

2. Wu-Tang legend GZA once said, "You need to diversify your bonds." So, with that in mind, we've added two extra stops. For this month's party we welcome Blue Bonnet Clothing and Gifts  and The Caboose Bar to the party.

Make sure you grab a map when you check-in, because we now have a grand total of 16 stops to explore! Also, be sure to get your map stamped at every location to enter our raffle for a VIP pass to this year's ARTlando

3. Local food-delivery app Order Up will be handing out free samples and swag from their heavy roster of restaurants.

4. Tickets are still cheap! You have until midnight Tuesday to get your wristband for only $10. Each wristband includes a map of the event, free drinks at 16 different stops and tasty samplings from Order Up. Unfortunately, if you wait till the day of to get your wristband, the price jumps up to $15.

5. Local singer Sunshine Matthews will be performing upfront at The Venue.

You can pick up your wristbands starting at 7 p.m. at either Savoy, Retromended or Santiago’s Bodega.

If you can't make it to this week's event, it's OK. Drink Around The Hood happens every 3rd Wednesday of every month. For more info head here.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Ivanhoe Village Main Street District.
