Nerd Nite celebrates girl power this month. This gathering of geeks brings you an evening of booze, brains and intellectual banter. As an audience member, you’ll be able to sit back, relax and drink as an all-female lineup of speakers presents for around 15 minutes each on the achievements of different women in science. You can let your inner nerd shine too. After each presenter finishes, the floor opens up for a Q&A where you can give your two cents.

7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 9 | The Geek Easy, 114 S. Semoran Blvd., Winter Park | orlando.nerdnite.com | free
