Last summer, the Golden Pelicans released their debut after what felt like ages of ripping those songs live, and now it seems the essential local punk act is making up for it by bouncing back this year with a timely follow-up in Oldest Ride Longest Line. They've already shared two scorched new tracks, "Black Mold" and "Low Falutin" (UPDATE: STREAM THE FULL ALBUM NOW BELOW) and plan to unleash the full LP at a party Friday, July 31, at Will's Pub, which also kicks off their European tour (RSVP!).

It's pretty rad to see a band that has stirred so much locally (Floridas Dying/Total Punk) set their sights further than Florida's one-way road out and adventure overseas with their gritty classic punk chops. Mark the kick-off on your calendar and take a minute to space out to Mac Blackout's newest Golden Pelicans album cover illustration, which makes Universal's Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit roller coaster look like a barbershop quartet-themed kiddie ride.
