Local talk show host says he'll run against Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, launches #anybodybutbuddy campaign

Posted By on Wed, May 20, 2015 at 3:12 PM

Yesterday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced that he'll be running for mayor again. And today, local personality Randy Ross announced that he'll throw his hat in the ring. Why? Because #anybodybutbuddy, according to the press release below. Ross made news for some questionable reasons over the past 12 months, but he promises to "put my skeletons out front and center." Presumably, he means these skeletons. And this one, too. Could make for some interesting debate material.

It sounds like Ross knows he's a long shot – he points out that he's not going to be able to out-fundraise Dyer, so he says he'll "send a message to those that feel their voice isn't being heard." And he'll listen. #Rosslistens. Here's his official announcement.
