Walker Stalker Con coming to Orlando in June

Posted By on Thu, Mar 12, 2015 at 4:21 PM

Get ready, fans of The Walking Dead: There’s a new convention geared toward you, and it’s coming to Orlando this summer.

The Walker Stalkers Con, a two-day event for fans of sci fi, horror and zombies, will bring characters from The Walking Dead, Gotham, Lost and more to the Orange County Convention Center. Fans can take part in events and panels and meet up with other zombie lovers who can’t get enough of their favorite show.

The idea for the convention was planted when James and Eric, the two hosts of the Walkers Stalkers Podcast with James and Eric, visited Senoia, Georgia, where The Walking Dead is set. The two say they got a chance to tour the sets and meet some of the actors from the show, and they enjoyed it so much that they began a KickStarter campaign to create the convention. The first one took place in 2013 in Atlanta, and this year it’s making an appearance in eight cities across the country. It’ll hit Orlando June 27-28, so you have plenty of time to get your cosplay gear together and make sure you look, well, the opposite of alive for the convention.

Tickets for the convention range from $45 for a Sunday-only pass to $1,200 for the extremely limited VIP package.
