The Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls, one of the first roller derby leagues to pull together their fishnets and neon tanks and take to the skate rinks in Orlando, has announced its 2015 season. The league, which has been in existence since 2009, has four teams: the Arkham Assailants, Serial Thrillers, Sunnyland Slammers and new for 2015, the Straight Jackettes.

Most of the league’s teams bout against one another at their home rink, the Semoran Skateway in Casselberry, but the Straight Jackettes is the OPCDG’s all-star travel team that represents Orlando as a top competitor in the sport of roller derby.

OPCDG is looking for more thrill-seeking ladies to join their team, and if you’re interested in trying out, a recruitment session is planned for April 15 at 8:45 p.m. Roller derby is a full-contact, fast-paced sport, so it’s not for everyone – but the league also accepts volunteers who don’t play but support the teams.

Don’t let the derby girls’ fishnets and face paint fool you. Although the sport has a reputation for being aggressive and team members have nicknames like Killa Thug and Ivana Crushyu, Psycho City is a family-friendly organization that keeps htings clean. The league is even hoping to apply for nonprofit status, as it works with charities and various nonprofit organizations around Orlando.

The 2015 season opener, “My Bloody Valentine,” already took place on Feb. 15, but you’ve still got plenty of time to catch a game this season:

2015 Home games:

March 15: Orlando vs. Lakeland
April 12: Home Teams
May 3: Orlando vs. Palm Bay
June 14: Home Teams
July 12: Orlando vs. Daytona
Aug. 9: Orlando vs. Sarasota
Sept. 27: Home Teams
Oct. 25: Mixed
Nov. 8: Closer

2015 Away games:

April 18: Orlando vs. Tampa
April 25: Orlando vs. Daytona
June 6: Orlando vs. Sarasota
Sept. 13: Orlando vs. Lakeland
