There are some candies that, even though they totally suck, are inextricably linked with a holiday. It doesn't matter how they taste; they're just a visual cue to remind you what month it is. Waxy, awful candy corn = Halloween, flimsy hollow rabbits made of low-quality chocolate = Easter, and chalky conversation hearts that taste like Tums and bear vague, sometimes disturbing messages? Valentine's Day is around the corner! A recent Twitter trends of the past couple days, #RejectedCandyHearts, takes those short, weird candy-heart messages and ... well ... makes them worse. From grammar nitpicks to expired trends to horribly graphic come-ons (and even the rantings of a deposed British monarch), these are some of our favorites.
