Because the city clearly hates "ride-sharing" companies like Uber (while simultaneously having a masterful grip on Mears talking points for taxi lovers), today the city – which unanimously voted in favor of a new regulatory ordinance a week ago – will likely sign said ordinance into law on second read. We'll be liveblogging City Council at 2 p.m., because we have NOTHING BETTER TO DO, but for now, consider this your warning. If you want to raise your voice in protest, today is your last chance. Oh, and if you need to catch up on this whole saga, we've covered it a bunch. You can find the links here.
