HRNK!!! FANCY NEW LOGO ALERT!!!! The city wants you to know that this Sunday, Dec. 14, you can exercise your taxpayer right to walk aimlessly (OK, "self guided" touring is what we're talking about) around the souped up – to the tune of $200 million – Orlando Citrus Bowl. The mayor will even be there AND he'll be near the pizza stand, so there's that. Anyway, go check out the Christmas gift you may not have known that you purchased for yourself this weekend because you always peek at the presents anyway, scoundrel.

Here's the press release that tells you how to get your magic ticket (not Magic ticket):

On Sunday, December 14, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites Central Florida residents to a free Community Open House to get a first-hand look at all of the new fan amenities and state-of-the-art technology in the newly reconstructed stadium.

This is a free, but ticketed event featuring self-guided tours, entertainment, free popcorn and soda and commemorative giveaways to celebrate the new Orlando Citrus Bowl.

The self-guided tour of the Orlando Citrus Bowl will take patrons through two levels of spacious 360-degree concourses that include an impressive array of concessions; into the 3,000-square-foot player locker rooms each featuring 90 new lockers; up to the 20,000-square-foot open-air Plaza Deck featuring views of the field as well as Lake Lorna Doone; and ultimately onto the field where attendees can participate in interactive games.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food donation to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Donations will be collected at each gate as patrons enter.
