7 New Year's Eve concerts in Orlando: Billy Joel, Delusionaires, White Trash Bash and more

Posted By on Mon, Dec 8, 2014 at 3:02 PM

If you like ringing in the new year with live music still ringing in your ears, you have a bunch of New Year’s Eve concerts worthy of your consideration for Dec. 31 party plans. Of course, the biggest show that night was announced by Mayor Buddy Dyer last month: Billy Joel at Amway Center. There are still tickets for that available between $60-$825, but if the piano man isn’t your style or you’re looking for a cheaper ticket to 2015, check out these options:
Billy Joel
They say it's been seven long years since Joel's pounded keys in Orlando, so if you've been looking for something (maybe something sacred you lost?) to fill the void since then, head to Amway to kick off 2015. Read more.
9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Amway Center, $49.50-$825

Candyland
Santa Barbara producers/DJs Candyland spin original glitch-hop, house, dubstep, electro and house to thoroughly beat the path to 2015.
10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Venue 578, $21-$40

JJ Grey and Mofro
Excellent regional Southern rock/blues show features Daryl Hance and Thomas Wynn and the Believers with Jax blues champs JJ Grey and Mofro.
8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at House of Blues, $35

White Trash Bash
Local rockers American Party Machine host the shabbiest NYE you can imagine, with contests for trashiest costume, best juggalo costume, Mr. and Mrs. White Trash and longest PBR wizard staff (which is apparently a thing).
10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Backbooth, free (RSVP!)

New Year’s Eve with the Delusionaires

Three of Orlando’s finest, most exciting bands – The Delusionaires, Golden Pelicans and Woolly Bushmen – combine to make a fat, wet, sloppy New Year’s kiss for folks in Orlando who know what’s up. Plus a free champagne toast at midnight.
9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Will’s Pub, $10 (RSVP!)

Maniacal Mojo’s New Year’s Eve Bash
If it’s been a heavy year, join some of Orlando’s heaviest bands to close it out, including Born From Ashes, the Glorious Rebellion, Auditory Armory and more. Bonus: Free food, champagne and party favor included in admission.
8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Haven Lounge, $10 (RSVP!)

New Year’s Eve show with the Supervillains
Skank out the year with the Supervillains as they rock our swampy city along with Hor!zen, Apollo Electric, Jahnopa and more.
6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at West End Trading Co., $12-$15 (RSVP!)
