Until now, Cloak & Dapper, the self-titled “Gentleman’s General Store” that specializes in American-made male-grooming, clothing and accessories, was a strictly online and pop-up shop experience, but no longer! As of today, customers can step into this gorgeously renovated shop in Swanson’s Ivanhoe Row (the same stretch of Orange Avenue where Tim’s Wine Market and the Hammered Lamb are located) and purchase whatever they need, whenever they need it – no shipping fees. The grand opening event – dubbed Shifting Gear, since that’s what they’re doing, kinda – features the requisite free drinks (The Courtesy and The Imperial) and light bites (Smiling Bison) but you’ll also get a preview of the Cloak & Dapper fall and winter collection and a chance to buy some limited-edition goods only available opening night. Well-dressed men (or those who would like to be), don’t miss out.

7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 | Cloak & Dapper, 1219 N. Orange Ave. | 407-205-9951 | | free
