Watch 'Dumb and Dumber' for free at Enzian Theater

Posted By on Tue, Nov 4, 2014 at 5:25 PM

Before there were movies such as Bad Grandpa and The Three Stooges (2012 version), there was Dumb and Dumber. It was 1994 and thus began the idiotic legacy of Lloyd and Harry. In light of the sequel premiere on Nov. 14, the Enzian Theater has decided to show the original movie for free on Nov. 5 as part of their Wednesday Night Pitcher Show series.

If you plan on watching the sequel but not the original, we suggest you get acquainted with the soup bowl haircut and the dimwitted trouble these two just can't seem to shake. And you miss watching how Lloyd and Harry became--well, Lloyd and Harry from the first dumb meeting to the next. It was as if these two were made for each other in the cinema world and can't get enough of their silly antics no matter how much you try.

It's a rare gift, those two, but although it may not have been critically-acclaimed, it is considered by many to be one of the funniest movies, ever. It wouldn't be until the early 2000s before I'd get a real chance at watching the movie considering I had just turned 1 at the time of its release, but it was love at first site especially watching the chemistry between these two, often times making me wish I could find a friend that I could be stupid with (I mean who wouldn't?). It was really this movie that initiated my infatuation with Jim Carrey in the first place. And who could forget scenes like this:

And this hilarious meme.
