July 3

Red Hot and Boom

Fourth of July

Disney’s Celebrate America: Fourth of July Concert in the Sky

Special fireworks every night of the week, with a patriotic parade featuring Goofy, Donald and Pluto preceding the Festival of Fantasy Parade. 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday; Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort, Lake Buena Vista; included with park admission; 407-939-5277;

Red, White and Brew Block Party

Independence Weekend at the Parliament House

Fourth of July Celebration

Fourth of July in Colonialtown

Hosted by the Colonialtown North Neighborhood Association, this family-friendly block party is a quiet, safe event free of drunks and elbowing strangers. Enjoy a patriotic bike parade through Colonialtown as you make your way to Lake Highland for some fireworks and picnicking. 7 p.m. Friday; Bike decorating at 1504 Canton St., fireworks at Lake Highland Park, 501-699 Lake Highland Drive; free;

23rd annual Hunter Vision July 4th Watermelon 5k Run/Walk

Come join the July 4th Watermelon 5k Run through Park Avenue in Winter Park. Funds raised from the event will support the Track Shack Foundation. In addition to the run, there will be a watermelon-eating competition. 7 a.m. Friday; Central Park, 251 S. Park Ave., Winter Park; 407-599-3334;

City of Kissimmee 2014 Monumental July 4th Celebration

City of Winter Park Olde Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

Wear your red, white and blue, bring a blanket or beach chair and gather with family and friends to enjoy this Winter Park tradition. Featuring live patriotic music performed by the Bach Festival Brass Band and the Bach Festival Choir, horse-drawn wagon rides and much more. The Pedestrian & Bicycle Advisory Board will be providing a free bike valet service for those who want to bike to the event. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday; Central Park, 251 S. City of Orlando’s Fireworks at the Fountain

July 4th Celebration with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra
