Easter's sneaking up on us like a silent, stealthy bunny. If you're into the Easter thing – church, candy, egg hunts – you've probably got your day all scheduled. But for those for whom Easter is really just the day before the Peeps go on clearance at CVS, figuring out how (or whether) to celebrate isn't so clear cut. Well, it just so happens that Easter lands on 4/20 this year, which means it's a good year to party on Easter, right? There are a surprising number of cool things happening that don't require you to sit through an agonizing family dinner or pretend the Easter bunny is real. See below for some of the stuff we found:

Geocaching Egg Hunt

In this event you can mix your love for technological gadgets with your competitive egg-hunting spirit.

When: 4 p.m. April 18

Venue: Peghorn Nature Park and Trail, 2101 Peghorn Way, St. Cloud

Central Florida Earth Day

The core message for this year's edition of  the best-attended Earth Day event in Central Florida is “Education, Celebration and Action”.

When: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. April 19

Venue: Lake Eola Park,  North Rosalind Avenue and East Washington Street

420 Tap Takeover

Chef Bill will be cooking up hungry hippie cakes and a sticky icky burger in honor of 4/20. There will also be a smokin' tap takeover, which includes Pineapple Express, Humboldt Brown Hemp Ale and more.

When: 4.20 p.m. April 19

Venue: Oblivion Taproom, 5101 E. Colonial Drive

The Passion of the Christ Screening

We expect this to be a surreal experience: The Holy Land Experience is offering free screenings of Mel Gibson-helmed film The Passion of the Christ. Make a day of it: Hang out at the park and watch the crucifixion re-enactment, which happens daily, then watch the movie and decide who did it better: Mel Gibson or Holy Land's Jesus.

When: 6 p.m.& 9 p.m. April 19, 3 p.m. April 20

Venue: The Holy Land Experience, 4655 Vineland Road

Easter Bud Hunt

If you'd rather search for beer than eggs, and rather get free beer than free candy,  the Bud hunt is your perfect Easter solution.

When: 2 p.m. April 20

Venue: The Hideaway Bar, 516 Virginia Drive

420 Music Festival

With eight bands, BBQ and a happy hour, this event's aim is to raise voter awareness for the Medical Marijuana Amendment #2 in November.

When: 2 p.m. April 20

Venue: La Sirena Gorda Cabana,  118 S. Palmetto Ave.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Toss

The Easter brunch and bloody Mary bar goes 'til 4 p.m. and there's live music til 6 p.m.

When: 2 p.m. April 20

Venue: The Hammered Lamb, 1235 N. Orange Ave.

Southern Fried Sundays at Will's Pub

This edition of Southern Fried Sundays features People's Blues of Richmond, The Woolly Bushmen and Fast Preacher. To celebrate their first Easter serving liquor, Will's will be hiding eggs around the bar with tickets for free shots inside.

When: 5:30 p.m. April 20

Venue: Will's Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave.

88th Annual Easter Sunrise Service

If you're looking for an egg-free, booze-free, 4/20-free, lets-commune-with-the-beauty-of-nature Easter experience, Bok Tower Gardens' sunrise service features a performance by Geert D'hollander on the 60-bell Singing Tower carillon, but it's a super-early, distance morning trek for Orlandoans.

When: 7 a.m. April 20

Venue: Bok Tower Gardens, 1151 Tower Blvd.

And if none of these are your bag, Here's a brilliant suggestion: nighttime egg hunt! Grab some big plastic eggs, some tiny liquor bottles and some bendy glow sticks. Combine, hide, turn off the lights, then hunt.
