If you love Tako Cheena (or, if you've been waiting for a good excuse to finally stop in), tomorrow would be a good day to go. The restaurant plans to donate 15 percent of all April 3 sales made between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. to the Zebra Coalition, a local nonprofit that helps LGBTQ youth connect with resources they need to live better lives. According to a story we wrote about the organization in 2013, 33 percent of all teen suicides are committed by LGBTQ kids, 42 percent of homeless young people identify as LGBTQ and 26 percent of LGBTQ kids who come out to their parents are kicked out of their homes. Zebra Coalition helps these kids find safe places to stay, connects them with social services and gives them a sense of community and belonging.

So, go ahead and order that Indian butter burrito and splurge on the kimchi cheese fries – calories be damned, it's for a good cause. See you there at lunch. And maybe again at dinner.
