In honor of National Pie Day, here are some of our favorite Orlando slices

According to the very official American Pie Council, it's National Pie Day! You know what that means? Pie for dinner! Here's our some of our favorite places in Orlando to get a slice of pie:

P is for Pie

Located on Corrine Drive, P is for Pie opened last year. They have a ton of pies available on their menu, but my personal favorite is the Cinnamon Coconut Cream. What was that old Reese's commercial? Two great tastes that taste great together? Yeah, this fits the bill.

Se7ven Bites

Provider of pies to Pom Pom's for the last few years, Se7en Bites finally got a storefront in the Milk District last November. Not gonna lie, I did a little happy dance when I heard the news. My most recent stand out from Se7en Bites was a salted caramel dark chocolate pecan pie. I try to make a version of this at home, but it just isn't nearly as delectable.

Charlie's Gourmet Pastries

On Curry Ford Road, Charlie's has been a staple in Orlando since 1971. Their pie menu is a bit more traditional than the previous two mentioned, but holy deliciousness. I've tried probably 75 percent of the items on Charlie's menu, but the one I keep coming back to is the plain Jane apple pie. It's perfection in a pie plate. Bonus: they have their own food truck!

Stardust Video and Coffee

Okay, so this isn't pie in the traditional sense, but if you're looking for savory instead of sweet, Stardust Video and Coffee on East Winter Park Road is your best bet. Buried in the menu full of clever names, their Pi is to die for. Served on a pita, you can order it vegan or non. However you order it, your tummy will thank you.
