First look at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley without scaffolding

Universal Studios Florida has unveiled Harry Potter's Diagon Alley without scaffolding.

Barely two years ago, Universal Studios Florida shuttered their beloved Jaws ride, and today fans got their first unobstructed view of the mega-attraction that replaces Amity village. Overnight, Universal Orlando unveiled the London Waterfront, giving us a good look at the facade that conceals The Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Diagon Alley without scaffolding to obstruct the amazing amount of detail being applied to these faux-English buildings.

There is still much work to do on the exterior, so expect to see cherry-picker lifts in full force over the next few months. We'll have more details on what's happening behind that facade next week, after Universal's webcast event on 1/23.

In the meantime, take a look at these brand new views of Diagon Alley without scaffolding.
