Universal Orlando survey suggests Halloween Horror Nights ticket price changes in 2014

New Universal Orlando survey says: Halloween Horror Nights ticket prices will change.

Like all the major theme parks, Universal Orlando frequently uses guest surveys to gage potential consumer reactions to proposed changes in their parks. Today, I participated in an online survey that strongly suggests Universal is considering changes to their Halloween Horror Nights ticket price structure in time for the annual event's 24th debut in September 2014.

The survey involved seeing a series of theoretical ticket options -- each with a different combination of base cost, advance purchase discount, and eligibility restrictions -- and being asked to select the one I would purchase. Note that none of these exact ticket options will necessarily be offered for Halloween Horror Nights, because the computerized survey randomizes combinations presented to each user.

Nevertheless, it's safe to assume from the possibilities presented that Halloween Horror Night ticket prices will change in 2014 (I'll leave it to you to divine which way they are likely going). In particular, don't be surprised if there are new restrictions on when the popular Frequent Fear season passes are valid.

Official 2014 Halloween Horror Nights ticket prices, along with other details on the event, won't be released until this summer, after the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida. Check back here on January 23rd for breaking news on the Harry Potter additions!
