Orlando Predators to play at CFE Arena in 2014

Posted By on Thu, Dec 5, 2013 at 4:40 PM

302_orlando-predators-primary-2011Orlando Predators' owner David Pearsall announced Wednesday that the local arena football team will move play from Amway Center to the CFE Arena on the University of Central Florida campus for the 2014 season.

“We are thrilled to start a new chapter of the Predators organization at CFE Arena,” said Pearsall. “Our fans are going to experience a new theater style jumbo screen on the back wall of the arena that will show larger than life football like they have never seen.”

Allen Johnson, executive director of the Orlando Venues/Amway Center appears to also be showing support for the move, saying, “We have had a long relationship with the Orlando Predators and their fans.  We are pleased that they will remain in the Orlando market.”

The Preds kick off the regular season against the Jacksonville Sharks next year on March 16. For tickets and more info on the team, visit the Orlando Predators website.
