MORE SNIFFING AROUND CONGRESSMAN TREY RADEL: “This is not the first time Radel's vices have proved embarrassing for him. In June of last year it was revealed that the conservative's now-defunct media company, Trey Enterprises, had registered a series of sex-themed website domains. Reported Mother Jones, "Among them is, a slang term defined by Urban Dictionary as 'a woman who doesn't look good, but is good enough to sleep with.' There was also (whorehouse), (little blow job), (girls of Rio).” (Gawker)

MORE LOVE NOTES (ER, PUBLICLY FUNDED CAMPAIGN COLLATERAL) FROM GOV. RICK SCOTT: “The Lottery Department estimates the cost of the Lottery letters is $1,149.54. Since the beginning of the year, the governor has also written to more than 400,000 Floridians who have received or renewed their business and professional licenses — a cost to the state of nearly $10,000 the Florida Times Union reported. And last year, Scott asked for the names of school kids who got a perfect score on standardized tests.“Growing up, my parents struggled financially,’’ Scott wrote in his letter to those who received business permits. "In fact, when I started school, we lived in public housing.” (Tampa Bay Times)

SPEAKING OF HONEST GOV. SCOTT, HERE HE IS CALLING OBAMA DECEITFUL: “Scott’s claim about 300,000 people losing insurance apparently disregards the rule change announced last week by the Obama administration that allows insurers to extend current health coverage into next year. Florida Blue, the big insurer, earlier warned that 300,000 Floridians could have been without coverage — but now will maintain existing policies through 2014.”(Palm Beach Post)

UH-OH, ALEX SINK IS EYEING THE MIDDLE AGAIN. LET’S SEE HOW THAT WORKS THIS TIME: "What I’m looking for now is to hold this administration accountable — I’m not going to Washington to apologize or defend any administration, whether it’s Republican or Democrat — I’m going to Washington to represent the people of this district. And be sure that government is working for them," she says. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

MIAMI-DADE COMMISSION FINALLY CONSIDERING THAT DISASTEROUS SEA LEVEL THING THAT IT’S BEEN IGNORING: “A broad discussion on the county's dilapidated water and sewer pipes began Tuesday with Commission Chairwoman Rebeca Sosa exhorting staff to consider rising sea levels "in every detail" of the future development of infrastructure.” (Miami Herald).
