Au Revoir Simone remakes Martin Scorsese's "After Hours" for new video

Posted By on Wed, Sep 11, 2013 at 5:17 PM

The Brooklyn-based trio Au Revoir Simone (a name taken from Pee Wee's Big Adventure) have been nothing if not enormously charming in their past videos (and takeaway shows) and that continues with their new video for Crazy, which is a loving, condensed remake of Martin Scorsese's After Hours.

Scorsese's only true and pure comedy, After Hours features a hapless Griffin Dunn having the worst night of his life as he stumbles through an unsafe late mid-80s Manhattan. After going mostly unloved after its initial release, the film has gained something of a cult status in the last few years.

Crazy follows Somebody Who as the second single from their fourth album, Move in Spectrums, which is out Sept 24th.
