I scream, you scream: Orlando among "America's Best Cities for Ice Cream"

Posted By on Fri, Jul 19, 2013 at 12:06 PM

Looks like Travel + Leisure just released their list of "America's Best Cities for Ice Cream", and Orlando is sitting pretty at number 15 (out of 22 towns).

Orlando was awarded the spot mainly because of our kid-friendly appeal (thanks to the attractions). And the article points out a few local ice cream joints including Ivanhoe Village's Twisted Bliss and Lu Lu's Ice Cream Shop in Winter Park.

We recently featured Lu Lu's in our Endless Summer issue last month, within our "Game of Cones" story. In the same article, you'll find info on a handful of other local ice cream places, in case you're in the mood for something sweet this summer.
