Tom Hanks as avuncular Uncle Walt in his early-60s prime. Emma Thompson as notoriously prickly Mary Poppins author P. L. Travers. Yes, this is a real thing, believe it or not.

Saving Mr. Banks, an authorized semi-historical account of the making of Disney's classic Poppins film, hits theaters this Christmas, but you can check out the first trailer here. Look for B.J. Novak and Jason Schwartzman as the song-writing Sherman Brothers, and the Disneyland theme park itself, digitally redressed to look like its opening-decade self.
