Screenshots from Google Maps' street view of Harry Potter's Diagon Alley

Posted By on Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 2:48 PM

Harry Potter fans: If you can't make it to London to tour the set of Diagon Alley, the fictional busy London street on which all the young wizards bought their school supplies before heading back to Hogwarts for the semester, and you can't afford to take a trip to Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter any time soon, Google has given you the next best thing. It has mapped the set of Diagon Alley as it currently stands at Warner Bros. studios in London. You can zoom in for closer views of Ollivander's Wand Shop and Gringott's Bank. You can tilt your view to look overhead and see the studio lighting. You can see where the green screens were placed and where the sets begin and end. It's a very cool time-waster. We've got screen captures of what it looks like on the following pages, or you can head over to Google Maps and take the tour yourself.
