Incoming! Color Me Rad 5K takes over Central Florida Fairgrounds

Posted By on Fri, Apr 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Saturday, April 13 – Color Me Rad 5K

9 a.m.

Central Florida Fairgrounds

4603 W. Colonial Drive

sold out

It’s kind of like if you mixed paintball with a 5K running race – except these paintballs don’t hurt. The Color Me Rad race – not to be confused with the Color Run 5K from a few months ago – makes its way to Orlando for the first time this weekend. Runners will race through an untimed course amid splashing arrays of colorful paint, tie-dying them every hue under the sun (and maybe above it, too). Participants of all ages and ability are welcome to run or walk, but hopefully you already got your ticket, as they are sold out. Proceeds from the 3.1-mile race benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. After this race, we guarantee that run on the gym treadmill will seem so much more boring. – Drexler B.
