It's simple...we hunt the Batman.

Looks like old 'Bats is getting another trip into the game-o-verse! Batman: Arkham Origins has been officially revealed (via GameInformer), and is set to be a prequel to Arkham City

Not to mention, it's looking PRETTY.

This time around, Batman will come face-to-face with eight assassins (including Deathstroke) who have journeyed to the city to hunt him down, and Black Mask is the do-badder responsible for putting the bounty on his head. Given that this is one of the many Dark Knight universes, this series has already proven its affinity for breaking the rules and creating their own mythos--did you SEE the ending of Arkham City? Holy damn!

Another neat feature will be Batman's long-overdue ability to traverse the massive game via the Batwing, but only after unblocking the signal from radio towers placed strategically throughout the game world. That's probably a good thing too, considering they're claiming that this behemoth is TWO-TIMES the size of the previous title.

These are only some of the new features of Batman: Arkham Origins, and though it's being commandeered by a new team, we at Orlando Weekly have faith that it will be nothing short of spectacular. Stay tuned!
