Holiday craft fair, pioneer demos and more at Cracker Christmas

The spirited settlement – founded Dec. 25, 1837, as a U.S. Army fort during the Second Seminole War – hosts a two-day Cracker Christmas, a colloquial ode to the Old Florida way of holiday merriment, complete with an outdoor barbecue, more than 150 artisans brandishing made-by-hand wares, an antique engine and tractor display, and visits with Santa Claus.

Hysterical Tour of Gnomes and Pub Invasion tonight in downtown Sanford
