$7-$12

Ever get that deep-green fashion envy when you come across someone wearing a must-have blazer or sundress? It often leads to impulse shopping sprees and exorbitant retail receipts. That’s why we love Other Peoples Property, with their “reducing your fashion footprint” ethos and seasonal Swap & Shop events. Not only does their clothing exchange save you tons of loot, but you’ll also take home a brand-new (to you!) collection of gently used duds. Gals and guys pay a mere $7 (or $12 day of) to drop off their clothes, and then receive a tote to fill up with others’ shirts, dresses, pants, jewelry, accessories, etc. More good stuff: OPP will also be selling vintage items from their retail store; homemade cupcakes are rumored to be making an appearance; and a portion of each sale benefits Charity: Water, a nonprofit that delivers clean water globally. Seriously, this one’s a win-win. – Aimee Vitek
