Photo Gallery: Florida Collegiate Summer League baseball knocks out ninth season

Posted By on Thu, Aug 16, 2012 at 5:04 PM

The Florida Collegiate Summer League, Central Florida's wood bat baseball league, finished up its ninth season on Aug. 9 with a 10-7 win by the DeLand Suns over the Leesburg Lightning at St. Petersburg's Tropicana Field.

While we covered the hype surrounding the beginning of the season and the championship rematch that was this season's opening game, Orlando Weekly contributing photographer Aldrin Capulong captured the on-field action throughout the Florida League's summer-long season.

Below you'll find a collection of Capulong's photos from the season. To see loads more of his action shots, visit his Facebook page. For a full view of his portfolio, visit Aldrin Capulong Photography.
