2:28 p.m.: To give you a true description of what it's like to be a 30-year-old guy at the Warped Tour, I figured at some point I would have to get out of my comfort zone and place myself right in the center of the mainstage crowd. So at about 1:45 I figured it was time to get out there. Blood on the Dance Floor was playing, and it was bonkerz (I've learned that at Warped Tour the letter Z functions as the letter S).

If I knew what I was talking about, I'm sure I could give you a number of genres that might best describe this band's sound, but glam-screamo is the only thing I can come up with.

The first song went out to all of the pirates in Orlando, and apparently there are about 2,000 more of them than I would have guessed. There was a lot of yelling and a lot of happy, sweaty people. They said jump! We jumped. They said scream! We screamed. They said everybody go nuts! I got the hell out of there.
