He may now be a touted author and professor at Yale University, but as a kid, Carlos Eire was airlifted out of Cuba in 1962 during the Cuban Revolution as part of Operation Pedro Pan. Tonight, Eire will be introduced by U.S. Senator Mel Martinez to discuss his award-winning (and also barred from Cuba) nonfiction book Waiting for Snow over supper.
