Don’t let the name of this sprawling arts extravaganza fool you: More than 300,000 people, ranging from art aficionados to passive festival strollers, are expected to descend on downtown Winter Park this weekend for the 52nd annual Sidewalk Art Festival. It’s the kind of annual event that draws in a massive influx of out-of-town visitors traveling from afar for a chance to browse the juried showcase of pieces by 225 chosen national and international artists working in every medium – glass to leather to paint to digital art. Winter Park’s own Robert C. Beck crafted this year’s festival poster after a ride on the illustrious Winter Park Boat Tour, but if you’re looking for a similarly serene experience, before heading out, we suggest visiting the festival’s website for parking details. – Aimee Vitek
