Friday, Dec. 16Marc With a C's Annual Holiday Show

Local troubanerd Marc Sirdoreus (and we are always so tempted to spell that “Mark” just to eff with him) gives back to the fans with a free!free!free! all-request holiday show. The Monkee-loving proprietor of “The Real Congregation” radio show on Rollins student station WPRK 91.5 (recently reincarnated as a podcast on NerdyShow.com, where Sirdoreus can drop F-bombs and product recommendations with impunity, unbound by FCC regulations) may have gained fame in the wider Kingdom of Nerd, but he’s still got rabid local fans and this annual show is his gift to them. RSVP on the Facebook event page and leave your song request; he’s “increasingly hard of hearing,” so don’t just show up and y ell song titles. In an age of rampant personalization, where we all expect to get everything exactly to our liking, this may be the cleverest idea he’s had yet. You can also order a customized CD of the eight Marc With a C songs you like best through the website

a limited edition of one! So much better than monogrammed socks. – Jessica Bryce Young (8:30 p.m. at Stardust Video & Coffee, 1842 E. Winter Park Road; 407-623-3393; retrolowfi.com; free)
