Saturday, Nov. 5Flax Artists Market Weekend

Attention artists: You can sell your stuff in the parking lot outside Sam Flax at its expanded market this weekend (the mini version happens every Sunday). Just show up and start hawking. And musicians are welcome, too. “The idea is to give something back to the local artists who shop us,” says Jimmie Rice, marketing coordinator at Sam Flax. But with the free exposure for artists and a groovy farmers market vibe, the attendees are the ones on the receiving end of this equation. – Katie Westfall (10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday at Sam Flax, 1800 E. Colonial Drive; free; 407-898-9785)
