With the inevitable demise of Anti-Pop and the all-over-the-place lineup of this fall’s Orlando Calling, it appears as though Vans Warped Tour gets the award for most consistent national music fest in Orlando. This year’s summer-long self-proclaimed “punk rock summer camp” continues to appeal to the younger, eye-swept-bangs set, packing standard headliners like pop-punk cutie Hayley Williams and band Paramore, hip-hop junkies Gym Class Heroes and Hawaii-based Warped vets Pepper. Our favorite part of this year’s lineup? The impressive list of bands hailing from our very own Sunshine State: Intermingled with the slew of SoCal songsters are Ocala-based metalcore outfit A Day to Remember, Gainesville’s ska stalwarts Less Than Jake and punk rockers Against Me!, originally from Naples, to name a few. The all-day music mania lands at the fairgrounds this year after moving to Tinker Field a few years back. Expect a sweaty jumble, per usual any fairly decent music fest. Let’s hope it rains! – Aimee Shea (11:30 a.m. at Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 W. Colonial Drive; $33.41-$40; 407-295-3247;
