Hey hippie! GET A JOB!! No, seriously, get a job, because you're gonna need one to buy tickets for some shows.

First up, the big one: Wanee. The dates were announced back in October, but if you've forgotten, the annual festival is going down April 14-16 at the usual spot: the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park up in Live Oak. And no, this isn't a lineup announcement, but yeah, we'll tell you as soon as we know something. But, as of yesterday, the organizers have put a big batch of "Early Bird" ticket packages on sale for those of you who just know you're gonna go, regardless of who's playing. For $165.50 (plus fees, because, duh, it's always "plus fees"), you get four nights of camping, admission to the three days of the music festival, and admission to the kick-off party on Wednesday night. More details (but not many) can be found at the festival's site.

Somewhat less expensive and a bit closer to home: Furthur (Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, and some other dudes) just announced an April 5 date at the UCF Arena. Tickets are $49.50 (PLUS FEES!!!) and go on sale this Friday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m.
