Hey so imagine that: All those politically convenient "terror alerts" were, in fact, politically motivated

Posted on Thu, Aug 20, 2009 at 12:10 PM

The source on this is none other than Tom Ridge, the very same guy who raised the terror alerts as the first DHS secretary under W.

Reports Politico:

Tom Ridge confirms a long-held suspicion among Bush critics, writing in his new autobiography that he "was pushed to raise the security alert on the eve of President Bush's re-election, something he saw as politically motivated and worth resigning over."

Not that I'm surprised. But shit, if this doesn't make you angry, I'm not sure what will... It's amazing to me that, despite all the bullshit these motherfuckers pulled, BILL CLINTON got indicted and Bush-Cheney didn't.
