Overlong and unimaginative, this inflammation of the usually hilarious Comedy Central show goes to great lengths to justify its extended running time, but winds up repeating its jokes before the first act is over. While there are moments that are amusingly stupid (a wide-angle shot of their hotel allows a creepy glimpse into some, er, private moments) and moments that are amusingly disgusting (the explosion of a whale that washed up on a topless beach), there are few bits that evoke the uproarious laughter the TV version manages on a regular basis. By dragging the 'storyâ? out over 90 minutes ' rather than 22 ' the setups become laborious and the payoffs are minimal. Oh, the plot? Don't worry about it.
