Like beer?

Posted on Fri, Sep 15, 2006 at 9:27 AM

Who doesn't (besides weirdos, of course)? Well, according to a new study, drinkers are more likely than teetotalers to have a higher salary. (Note: This strategy for career advancement hasn't really worked for me thus far; maybe I should get the boss loaded and hit him up for a raise.) The study makes a kind of obvious point. To quote from CNN: "Those who drink socially, for example, may have an easier time finding a new job if they had made more business contacts, the authors claim, or they might strengthen relationships with co-workers or clients that could ultimately affect their salary."

More fun facts. You make even more money if you go to a bar at least once a month. Hmmm. Based on their formula, I should be a goddamn millionaire at this point.
