The madman of rock & roll is back and he wants all of his fans to know that he loves them. No, really. "Gets Me Through," the first cut off of of his new "Down to Earth," is a love song to his global legions: "I try to entertain you the best I can/ I wish I started walking before I ran/ But I still love the feeling I get from you/ I hope you'll never stop 'cause it gets me through."

Ozzy has joined forces with some talented musicians for this venture, including longtime cohort/guitarist Zakk Wylde, ex- Suicidal Tendencies/Infectious Grooves bassist Robert Trujillo and ex-Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin.

"Down to Earth" is definitely a return to rock basics for the Bat Biter. Hard-hitting tracks like "Can You Hear Them," "Junkie" and "Alive" are instant classics to add to his already mammoth career discography. The song "Dreamer" has the feel of "Goodbye to Romance" from 1980's "Blizzard of Oz." There's no way Ozzy fanatics can be disappointed with his latest opus.
