;(2010-100956) 7 a.m.: Whoever stole a Ford pickup from the Holiday Inn on Major Boulevard got a bonus of handguns in the glove box. Yee-haw!
(2010-102056) 8 p.m.: Cops saw a woman slipping out of a supposedly unoccupied condo in the 6400 block of South Goldenrod Road, and found her stuff inside. Neighbors said she's been crashing in empty places for months, getting found and thrown out of one after another.
(2010-102259) 11:40 p.m.: As two guys parked at Cornerstone Apartments on South Conway Road, 10 more guys pulled up in a truck, reached through the windows and started hitting them. The mob took a wallet and car keys, then left in a white truck and purple car.

(2010-106030) 4:53 a.m.: Two men got arrested in a family flap that started at Motel 6 on American Way. A man and his 8-year-old son were getting out of a cab when the men drove up, grabbed the kid and drove off. The boy's mother said by phone that she'd told the men to take the boy because she didn't think his father was taking care of him. It got stranger when one of the kid-snatchers called police and asked if it was OK to do what they did if one parent was fine with it. Told it was not, they said they'd take the boy back to the hotel. But cops spotted them first, on South Kirkman Road, and retrieved the child unharmed.
(2010-107299) 7:10 p.m.: A man going into his apartment in the 4400 block of Martins Way got mugged for $5 and his cell phone, but then the gunman tried to follow him inside. That changed when the apartment-dweller produced a shotgun.
(2010-107453) 8:35 p.m.: Being broke is dangerous. A man said someone in a ski mask pulled up to him at Willie Mays Parkway and Marshall Street and demanded money. When the man said he didn't have any, the masked man shot him in the shoulder and drove off. Oh, and the victim was carrying some pot at the hospital.

;(2010-107970) 2 a.m.: A woman awoke in her apartment in the 6200 block of Westgate Drive to find a man standing in her bedroom, but when she said something he ran away.
(2010-108164) 6 a.m.: Hello, police? Yeah, I just tried to buy crack in the 200 block of South Parramore Avenue – and the guy robbed me! Well, that's still armed robbery, despite the dubious merchandise; so the guy got arrested.
(2010-108403) 9 a.m.: Guns don't do much to protect your property if you leave them behind when you get out of your vehicle. That's how a resident of Regency Gardens Apartments on Thornbriar Lane lost a .40 caliber pistol, two full magazines and a the speaker box that weapon might have defended.
(2010-108375) 10 a.m.: You don't have to break all the way into computer businesses in the 300 block of North Rosalind Avenue. Just bust a window with a rock and a couple of laptops will be conveniently within arm's reach.
(2010-109057) 7:55 p.m.: At a traffic stop on the corner of Parramore Avenue and West Washington Street, cops saw the driver try to swallow a bag with cocaine residue. Searching his car, they found a pistol-grip shotgun and ski mask in the trunk.

;(2010-109642) 3:30 a.m.: Police stopped a woman at the corner of Conroy Road and Cason Cove Drive. "During the course of the stop both officers were battered," the report says. They managed to arrest her before she could heat up the Fry Daddy.
(Kissimmee PD) 9:30 p.m.: At a car crash in the 1100 block of Bay Street, officers found that the driver had also been shot.

;(2010-111426) 6 a.m.: Perhaps trying to make burglary less illegal, someone stole 10 "no trespassing" signs, along with cleaning supplies and a cat carrier, from the fenced yard of Carpenter, Claydon Advisors on Highland Avenue.
(2010-111318) 7:30 a.m.: Don't leave $5,140 in camera equipment in your car or it might disappear, especially in the 6400 block of Lightner Drive.
(2010-112436) 11:31 p.m.: A couple of apartment dwellers in the 4000 block of Maguire Boulevard saw a guy climbing a ladder to their second-floor patio. When he spotted, he took his ladder and went home. That's where police found him, and his ladder, at the other end of the same building.
