OMA exhibits the art of fine wine

If you notice fancy cars wheeling around Orlando Museum of Art Jan. 14-16, it's a sure sign that A Palette for the Senses wine fest is under way. Even if you drive a Yugo, this is a chance to sample from more than 80 international wineries at relatively affordable prices.

Admission is $35 to the kick-off party, with jazz, a silent auction, tidbits from Disney chefs and all the wine you can drink (5:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 14).

After that, it gets more expensive: $250 buys a private dinner in the home of Planet Hollywood mogul Robert Earl or other hosts on Jan. 15. It also includes entry to the Jan. 16 gala at the museum, featuring dinner by Disney's best chefs, and a Sotheby's auction. Tickets to the gala alone are $175, which doesn't include the cost of bidding on something after too much champagne. For details, call (407) 896-4231.
