Hot enough for ya? Just add salsa . . .

Folks complain about the heat, unless you're talking about hot sauce. And three Florida manufacturers of the Devil's Condiment keep things spicy for those addicted to "the burn."

Two hours south of Orlando in Fort Pierce, there's Cracker Cow-boy Enterprises (772-464-1971;, home of the award-winning Golden Guava Salsa and Devil Horse Citrus Sauce, a fiery blend of Indian River citrus, Key limes and habanero peppers. Two hours north, St. Augustine is where Dat'l Do-it cranks out its sweet-but-hot combo of datil peppers, tomato paste, honey and garlic (800-468-3285;; ).

In our backyard there's Tijuana Flats Hot Foods (888-679-1332;, manufacturer of the Smack My Ass & Call Me Sally line, which ranges from really hot to "700 times hotter than Tabasco sauce." In this case, it ain't the humidity.
